Tie Dye Tee for a glamorous look

Tie dye’s fashion was very much in vogue in the ’90s. In those years, almost everybody had a homemade tie dye tee. I remember that even my mom had made me one. This technique provides that the fabric is knotted with a rope, elastic or kitchen string, and then immersed in color. The parts covered by the string are not painted and create special design.

La moda del Tie dye era molto in voga negli anni ’90. In quelli anni quasi tutti avevano una maglia dai toni sgargianti realizzata in casa. Ricordo che anche mia mamma mi aveva fatto una. Questa tecnica prevede che la stoffa venga annodata con una corda, un elastico o spago da cucina, poi immersa nel colore. Le parti coperte dallo spago, non vengono dipinte e creano dei disegni particolari.
Da qualche anno il tie dye tee è tornato di moda ed io ho trovato su Zaful delle maglie carine. A me sono piaciute molto queste.
